Update the freezing warning has ended. Freezing rain conditions are no longer expected.

FORT NELSON, B.C. – A freezing rain warning has been issued for the Fort Nelson region.

Environment Canada says periods of freezing rain is expected Monday evening near Fort Nelson.  The temperature is expected to drop to minus 14 except minus 7 over southern sections.

Freezing rain is expected or occurring.

Periods of freezing rain near Fort Nelson is expected to end late this evening.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
