FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City has announced plans for the annual High on Ice Winter Fest.

This year, the annual event, which runs from February 12th to 15th, will be modified due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The City of Fort St. John Mayor Lori Ackerman says, “We are a Winter City, and the annual High on Ice Winter Fest is always eagerly anticipated. Thanks to our
Recreation Department, who has been working hard to modify this year’s event to ensure it complies with the Provincial Health Orders. While this year it will be different, we can still celebrate winter as a community.”

High on Ice Winter Fest will feature drive-through sculpture viewing, virtual events, self-directed activities, and several community partnerships. According to the City, some events are still being confirmed, and events could change based on the Provincial Health Orders.

High on Ice Winter Fest has been taking place in Fort St. John for over a decade. More information on events can be found on the City’s website.
