HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. –  The Hudson’s Hope RCMP have reported that the days leading up to Christmas were busy but not for the reasons you would think.

On December 17th, an elementary class dropped by the Hudson’s Hope RCMP detachment to deliver homemade Christmas cards and letters.

On December 23rd, Hudson’s Hope RCMP was advised of an animal stuck on a frozen pond. Upon further investigation, it turned out to be a cow moose who had fallen and lost their footing. A local farmer assisted by using a tractor and a hay bale to slide the cow moose to the pond’s edge.

Then on the evening of December 23rd, RCMP Cpl Gardner led an entourage of emergency vehicles around several streets in Hudson’s Hope and the Jamieson Subdivision for an impromptu Christmas light tour.
