FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A well-known drug dealer in the B.C. Peace has been sentenced to 20 months in jail.

Arin Charleyboy was sentenced to 20 months in jail this week but was given credit for 500 days that he has already served. That means he will serve another 100 days behind bars for charges going back to 2015 and 2016.

Charleyboy was arrested during a traffic stop in 150 Mile House on September 30, 2016, as a part of an investigation into drug trafficking in the B.C. Peace. Charleyboy is also prohibited from owning a firearm for ten years.

On top of the charges against Charleyboy, the investigation resulted in the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, Percocet, an AR15 semi-automatic rifle, as well as crystal methamphetamine, GHB, amphetamine, cash, and two additional firearms, from five search warrants and numerous traffic stops.

The RCMP arrested and charged 32 people during the investigation.
