CHETWYND, B.C. – Expect delays travelling through the Pine Pass on Monday due to avalanche control.

Drivebc.ca says the highway will be closed for 30 to 45 minutes at a time while crews do controlled avalanche work for C.N.

The work is planned for Highway 97 between Powder King Road and Old Hasler Road, approximately 1km north of the Pine Pass Summit.

The work will happen between 10 a.m. pacific and 2 p.m. pacific. Watch for traffic control personnel on the highway.
