FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – B.C. Hydro will do controlled burning this weekend.
B.C. Hydro is advising the public of some scheduled controlled burns as part of the on-going clearing of land along the Peace River for the Site C Project.
According to Hydro, burning of debris will be taking place from December 19 to December 20 in the areas of:
Hydro says debris that cannot be removed, mulched, or chipped needs to be burned and is done during the right weather conditions known as a venting window.
