FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Community Action Team of Fort St. John is teaming up with Mom’s Stop the Harm, Northern Sun Helper, S.N.O.W., and B.C. Yukon Drug War Survivors to place trees of memorial for loved ones that have been lost to the opioid crisis

To help families remember loved ones lost to the opioid crisis, a memorial tree is being set up this Wednesday, December 16, in the lobby at the Northern Health building on 100 Street in Fort St. John.

Members of the public are encouraged to stop by the Northern Health building to place pictures or ribbons with the names of their loved ones on the tree.

The Community Action Team is a large group of community organizations, health agencies, front-line service providers, and those with lived experience, all of whom are collectively committed to tackling the opioid crisis locally.
