VANCOUVER, B.C. – A survey released by B.C. Hydro indicates this holiday season will result in an unprecedented use of electronics.
According to a new survey conducted on behalf of B.C. Hydro, over 90 percent of the 800 British Columbians surveyed plan to spend more time at home over the holidays because of COVID-19.
Over half said they will use more electronics to help pass the time, which combined with small appliances account for about 20 percent of the electricity consumed in a home.
