FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – MNP of Fort St. John has made a $4,200 donation to the Fort St. John and Area Seniors Care Foundation.

According to MNP’s Peta Best, it was decided during the late summer of 2019 that they wanted to do something to improve the lives of seniors within the community.

Over the past year, Best says, every time there was a client referral, they would put money towards the Seniors Care Foundation, particularly for the Foundation’s Reach Out Program.

Roxanne Chmelyk of the Seniors Care Foundation says this donation will go towards purchasing Smart TV’s for residents to be able to keep connected virtually during these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Further information about the Senior’s Care Foundation can be found on their Facebook page.
