FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With the current effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the changes it has brought on, it can be hard to find the positive in things or find that light at the end of the tunnel.

That’s why Kate Hadland and the staff at Tenacious Detail came up with a way to look at the positives and the light. They came up with a sky lantern release to help bring some light into people’s lives and show respect and mourning those lost this past year.

The lantern release will be happening on Saturday, December 19th at 6 pm; no matter where you located in Fort St. John lanterns will be released into the sky, to show hope and unity. It will also show love to those that are in the hospital or care homes.

Special guests of honour will be the families of both Natalie Smalls and Adaura Cayford.

More information about the lantern release can be found on the Tenacious Detail Facebook page.
