FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP are investigating after finding what appears to be a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine and fentanyl.
On Friday, December 4, 2020, the Fort St John RCMP Crime Reduction Unit along with the Peace Liard Police Dog Service unit were conducting an investigation in the area of the 281 Road in Charlie Lake. RCMP members found a suspicious container in the snow. The container held what appeared to be a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine and fentanyl.
Currently, there are no suspects. The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in that area recently to contact the police and provide any additional information.
