FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation is calling on all local crafters to help assist frontline workers at the Fort St. John Hospital.
According to the Foundation, they are looking for anyone that can sew fabric scrub caps and either the plastic surgical facemask ear savers or adapters to alleviate the discomfort that some frontline are experiencing due to long hours of wearing the personal protective equipment.
So far this year, a number of community members have stepped up to provide hospital staff with much needed PPE as they continue to serve patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you wish to donate, items can be dropped off at the Fort St John Hospital Main entrance in the dropbox or at the main reception, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
