FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Northern Health is advising staff and students at Charlie Lake Elementary School that they may have been in contact with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19.

According to Northern Health,  the possible exposure took place on Monday and Tuesday of this week, November 23 and 24.

Health Authorities say, in this circumstance, the safety plan was followed precisely – and because of this, the risk of additional cases is very low.

Northern Health is asking that students and staff monitor for symptoms until December 8, which is 14 days from the last date of possible contact with the confirmed case.
