FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual ‘Plaid Friday’ event this Friday, November 27.
As part of the Chamber’s Love Fort St. John Campaign, Plaid Friday, a version of ‘Black Friday’, is an event that aims to help promote and raise awareness for shopping local at businesses in Fort St. John.
For Plaid Friday you can head out and start your shopping at the LOVE FSJ Businesses and stamp your passport to be entered for a prize basket valued at over $500.00.
According to Chamber Executive Director Cheryl Montgomery, it is more important to shop local than ever before as the local economy has suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and by participating in Plaid Friday, you can help boost the local economy.
More information can be found on the Chamber’s website.
