FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – School District 60 has released its Superintendent Report – Educational Report – for November 2020.

Operating Revenue for 2020-2021 is at $70.5 million with Operating Expenses at $70.2 million. The report breaks down where the funds come from, 96.3 per cent is a non-targeted operating grant from the Ministry of Education, 2.6 per cent is Ministry-targeted Aboriginal Education Grant, 0.7 per cent is other grants and revenue, 0.4 per cent is budgeted operating surplus and, 0.2 per cent is international student fees.

The report also describes where the money goes, how each dollar is spent, the student population for the district, and the team of staff employed by the district.

Along with the information regarding funding, the report discusses Intellectual Development, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Carer and Skill Development. There is also a Learning Evidence for SEL, literacy, writing, and numeracy.
