FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Helen Gilbert has been re-elected, by acclamation, as School Trustee Board Chair for the 2020-2021 term.
Gilbert, a School District 60 Zone 5 trustee, was first elected as Chair in November 2019, succeeding past Chair Ida Campbell.
The vote took place at a School District 60 meeting on Monday night which also saw the appointment of other positions within the Board of Trustees.
Elected as Vice-Chair was Zone 1 Trustee Madeleine Lehmann.
Other Trustees to be elected in positions within the Board include Zone 5 Trustee Erin Evans as Provincial Councillor, Zone 3 Trustee Nicole Gilliss as Provincial Councillor Alternate, and Zone 4 Trustee Ida Campbell as BCPSEA Representative. Nominated as BCPSEA Alternate was Madeleine Lehmann.
