FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies took on the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks, this past weekend, for two games as they started the regular season.
For game one, despite it being Friday, the 13th, luck was on the Huskies’ side as they were able to win their home game with a score of 5-2 over the Junior Canucks.
Then on Saturday, for game two of the weekend, the Huskies travelled down the Alaska Highway to once again take on the Canucks in Dawson Creek.
For this game, the Huskies were unable to maintain a lead, ultimately falling in a close game of 5-4 to the Canucks.
Up next, the Huskies will be home again this Friday as they host the Canucks for the third game of their regular season.
