DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Brad Sperling will continue to serve another year as the Peace River Regional District’s Board Chair.
During the Regional District’s regular meeting on Thursday, November 12, the board went through its annual process of electing a Chair and Vice-Chair to provide additional leadership and administrative functions for the Regional District.
The only nomination for the position of Chair was Brad Sperling, which was motioned by director Lori Ackerman, and seconded by director Keith Bertrand.
Sperling has been Regional Board Chair since 2017 and is the director for Electoral Area C, which represents the rural area surrounding Fort St. John.
Elected as Vice-Chair was director Dan Rose, a position he has served since 2017. Rose is director for Electoral Area E, which includes the communities of Groundbirch and Moberly Lake.
