FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies are getting ready to hold their 23rd Annual ‘Fill the Bus’ Food Drive.

Scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., this year’s Huskies ‘Fill the Bus’ is looking a bit different due to COVID-19.

According to Huskies’ Traci Hammond, instead of holding the food drive at the North Peace Arena, this year, it will be held at the Salvation Army on 100 Avenue.

Even though the drop-off location has changed, Hammond says players and volunteers will still be canvassing neighbourhoods for non-perishable food items and will be wearing face masks and practicing social distancing.

If you do not have a volunteer come to your door, you can still donate by dropping off donations at the Salvation Army.

All donations will be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank.

For more information, you can contact Traci Hammond by email [email protected].
