Power was restored to the rest of the community shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday
UPDATE – As of Nov. 10 at 5:20 a.m. – According to BC Hydro, power was restored to all customers as of 12:42 a.m.
UPDATE – Power has been restored to 1,800 customers as of 12:05 a.m. There are still 4,000 without power. That outage could be restored by 1:45 a.m.

UPDATE – As of 10:48 p.m. – Hydro reports it could take until 12:45 a.m. local time to restore power in Fort St. John. For more updates overnight, visit www.bchydro.com/outages
UPDATE – As of 10:35 p.m. – B.C. Hydro reports crews are on scene working to repair the outage. There is no estimate for when power will be restored.
UPDATE – As of 9:40 p.m. – B.C. Hydro says a crew has been assigned to fix the power outage. They are not scheduled to arrive the scene of the outage until 10:30 p.m. local time.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – BC Hydro is reporting an outage in Fort St. John that is affecting over 5,900 customers.
The outage started at approximately 9:20 p.m. and is affecting approximately half of Fort St. John.
Photos being shared on social media show a vehicle has hit a power pole along 86 street. Emergency vehicles are on scene attending the collision.
