FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Fort St. John RCMP received multiple reports of collisions regarding the icy road conditions that were experienced within the North Peace on Tuesday night.
According to RCMP, single-vehicle crashes were reported along the Alaska Highway between Fort St. John and Taylor.
In any of the collisions, they were single-vehicle with only minor injuries reported.
A freezing rain warning had been issued warning drivers of the potential hazards, and reminding them to use caution when out on the roads.
Drivers are continued to be reminded to drive with care as Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning Wednesday, for Fort St. John and the North Peace.
Heavy snow is forecast to develop by early Wednesday evening, with a total of 10 cm expected.
