FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Close to 1,000 customers remain without power after Monday’s wind storm.

B.C. Hydro says crews will continue to restore power today after winds of almost 90 km/h throughout the B.C. Peace caused damage to the power system.

There remain small outages all around the B.C. Peace, with the largest in the Fort St. John area at 355 customers. The outage covers an area along the Alaska Highway from Charlie Lake to the 256 road.
