FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation is extending a ‘Thank you’ to Bowes & Herron Ltd., whose donation helped with upgrades to the Peace Villas Hair Salon.

The remainder of the donation, along with the help from the FSJ Hospital Foundation Peace Villas Fund, went towards the purchase of two Tilt Commode chairs and four Artisan Bariatric Tilt Commodes. Feedback from staff says that the commodes have made a significant difference for patients with mobility issues.

Along with helping to purchase the new commodes, the FSJ Hospital Foundation also helped the FSJ Cancer Care Center. The Foundation was able to purchase an easily moveable chart rack that will help to provide extra storage. The center has been seeing an increase in patients and IV therapy patients.
