FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Northern Environmental Action Team (NEAT) is looking for volunteers for their Meals on Wheels program.
NEAT takes over the program’s operational duties starting November 2nd when they’ll be working to deliver quality frozen, nutritious, and affordable meals to those in need and who have difficulty in preparing meals for themselves.
Volunteers will be tasked with delivering these meals to the homes registered for Meals on Wheels with deliveries set for Monday to Thursdays at 5 pm, with pick-ups scheduled for 4:30 pm from local kitchens.
Some of the volunteer requirements include a BC Food Safe 1 Certification, Criminal Record Check, valid driver’s license and insurance, and a clear annual driver’s abstract.
