FORT NELSON, B.C. – Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Fort Nelson.

According to Environment Canada, a warm front is giving freezing rain to the Fort Nelson area this afternoon, October 26.

The freezing rain is expected to ease early this evening as the front moves eastward.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
