VICTORIA, B.C. – 12 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Monday, bringing the total in Northern Health to 383.
As of Friday, there were 16 active cases within the Region, with zero hospitalized.
According to the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, 817 new cases were confirmed, Monday, across B.C., bringing the total to 13,371.

When it comes to active cases across the province, there are 2,325 and 10,734 have since recovered.Hospitalizations in B.C., are at 77, with 26 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count is now up to 259.While the number of new cases is concerning, Henry says new cases can be prevented.
“To get through our COVID-19 storm, it requires all of us to do our part. No exceptions, no work-arounds, no trying to get around the very few but important rules that we have in place.”
Additionally, Henry is urging British Columbians to wear face masks and is now limiting gatherings in private households to household members plus a safe six.
4,637 people are currently under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
