VICTORIA, B.C. – Four additional cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Thursday, bringing the total in Northern Health to 365.
As of Wednesday, there were 13 active cases within the Region, with one hospitalized in ICU.
According to the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, 274 new cases were confirmed, Thursday, across B.C., bringing the total to 12,331.
When it comes to active cases across the province, there are 1,920 and 10,114 have since recovered.
Hospitalizations in B.C., are at 71, with 24 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count remains at 256.
Henry says if there is a major source of transmission, additional measures will be put in place.
“Additional measures can and will be put in place if they’re needed. We will use all the tools that are available.”
4,425 people are currently under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
