VICTORIA, B.C. – Four new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Wednesday, bringing the total in the Northern Health Region to 361.
As of Tuesday, there were 16 active cases within the Region, with one hospitalized in ICU.
According to the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, 203 new cases were confirmed, Wednesday, across B.C., bringing the total to 12,057.

When it comes to active cases across the province, there are 1,766 and 9,993 have since recovered.
As for hospitalizations in B.C., there are 70, with 21 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count is now up to 256.
4,294 people are currently under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
As cases continue to rise across B.C., Henry says even small gatherings can be risky.
“With COVID-19 still in our communities, we have seen that even small gatherings are risky right now. Inside or outside, large space or small, the fewer the faces the better.”
