GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Alberta Health Services is reporting 16 new cases of COVID-19, on Monday, in the City of Grande Prairie.

While there are 16 new cases, the number of active cases still sits at 49, with 16 new recoveries.

In addition to the City seeing new cases, the County of Grande Prairie has seen four new cases, making the active case count up to seven along with 65 recoveries.

When it comes to across Alberta, 898 new cases were added over the weekend, bringing the provincial total to 22,673.

A total of 292 Albertans have since passed away due to the virus, while 19,243 have since recovered.

Over 1.6 million COVID-19 tests have now been conducted in Alberta, and active cases now stand at 3,138.
