FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. –  The Rotary Club of Fort St. John has announced they’re now accepting applications from community clubs looking to participate in the 2020 Rotary Mega Lottery.

The Mega Lottery has helped to raise more than $2.5 million for participating clubs since 2003. This year, 18 non-profit groups have signed up to sell tickets within the Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, and Chetwynd area so far.

Coordinator Becky Belle joins the lottery this year as a Friend of the Rotary for more than 20 years. Belle says, “The Mega Lottery is designed to serve the communities of B.C Peace and Northern Rockies, every dollar we raise together goes to deliver programs, buy equipment and improve the quality of life of youth, families and, seniors in the north.”

Any interested clubs can contact Belle at 250-271-0133 or email megalott@telus.net to learn more and how to get involved.

Tickets for the 2020 Rotary Mega Lottery go on sale on November 1st, with more details being released in the upcoming weeks.
