FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Fort St. John RCMP say they responded to a single motor vehicle rollover.

According to RCMP, the rollover occurred on Friday afternoon, October 9, at 4:28 p.m. on 259 Road in the area of Airport Road.

Police say the vehicle had gone off-road right, cleared a curb, and rolled over in a field. The Vehicle caught fire and the driver was able to get out while a passerby was able to
to get the passenger out.

The driver suffered minor injuries while the passenger sustained more serious injuries.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and all causal factors have yet to be determined, but they believe speed and alcohol to be a factor.
