FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies has announced that they will be starting play this Friday, October 16.
Following a delay to the start of the NWJHL season due to COVID-19, the Huskies will be taking on the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks in a five-game exhibition series starting this Friday at 8:30 p.m.
While all the games will be taking place at the Pomeroy Sport Centre, no fans will be allowed to attend, but instead, the games will be available to be watched online.
To help cover operating costs, similar to admission fees, fans can pay an e-transfer of $15.00, to the team, to watch an online stream of the games.
Dates have yet to be determined for more games as the teams await further approval, eventually playing with the rest of the NWJHL.
Further information and updates can be found on the FSJ Huskies Facebook page.
