VICTORIA, B.C. – Four new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Monday, bringing the total in the Northern Health Region to 322.
As of Friday, there were 30 active cases within the Region.
According to the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, 358 new cases were confirmed, Monday, across B.C., bringing the total to 9,739.

Currently, there are 1,353 active cases in the province and 8,015 have since recovered.
As for hospitalizations in B.C., there are 66, with 16 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count is now up to 242.
Henry says the majority of new cases are coming from people who have a known contact that has tested positive.
“It is mostly people who have a known contact who has tested positive or was part of a cluster in B.C.”
3,010 people are currently under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
