Energeticcity.ca receives funding from Federal Government

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Energeticcity.ca has been awarded a grant from the Federal Government.

A grant in the amount of $30,605 will be provided to Energeticcity.ca from the Canada Periodical Fund and Special Measures for Journalism program.

The fund provided by the Federal Government will go to support the ongoing work of Energeticcity.ca.

“We are excited to recive this funding and it will help us to continue to operate after a signifcant drop in advertising revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Adam Reaburn, President of Energeticcity.ca.

Energeticcity.ca has made the information about this grant public to ensure the community is aware of this funding.

The grant is designed to provide eligible Canadian publishers of print magazines, print community newspapers (non-daily) and digital periodicals with the financial support they need to produce and distribute high-quality, Canadian editorial content.
