TAYLOR, B.C. – The District of Taylor is inviting citizens to come to the public meeting being held on Monday night to reveal more details and terms of the agreement that will see the Taylor Medical Clinic remain open.
Last week, it was announced an agreement had officially been reached between the North Peace Primary Care Clinic (NPPCC) and the District of Taylor coming into effect this September.
The announcement will see the NPPCC providing in-clinic doctors to the Taylor Medical Clinic 4 days per week, with the District of Taylor providing the facilities, staffing, and operational needs for the clinic over the one-year term.
“Our Council heard loud and clear from residents of Taylor and the region that medical services are a priority. On August 21st we will explain the new partnership between the North Peace Primary Care Clinic and ourselves,” said Mayor Rob Fraser. “I’d like to thank the staff and doctors for all their work on this partnership.”
The public meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. tonight in The District of Taylor Council Chambers.
