FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The 2017 Community-to-Community Poker Ride is taking place across the Peace River Regional District tomorrow.
The ride is a unique recreational event for motorcyclists to travel around the Peace Region, visiting the different visitor centres in various communities. The race will begin at the Fort St. John Visitor Information Centre, which is located at the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
After that, riders will travel in a clockwise direction, visiting Taylor, Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, Hudson’s Hope, and returning back to Fort St. John. Riders will get to stop at each of the visitor centres to pick a card to compete against each other for the best poker hand. The cost for each poker hand is $30.
