Collision on Highway 29 west of Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — At least one vehicle has been involved in a collision on Highway 29 west of Fort St. John.

According to a news tip received via social media, the collision occurred on Highway 29 near the Peace River Valley Viewpoint east of the Halfway River Bridge sometime before 12:45 p.m. today. According to a photo of the accident scene, at least one vehicle appears to be involved. A white two-door Ford Super Duty pickup truck can be seen in the ditch with some damage to its roof and front fender.

Sgt. Dave Tyreman with the Fort St. John RCMP said that investigators are still on the scene, and that more details should be released once the information becomes available.
