TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – The Tumbler Ridge RCMP are continuing to search for suspects after a drug lab was busted in that community over the long weekend.

On Thursday November 10th, police received a report that a house was suspected to contain a drug lab. The home in question is a rental property and the lab was discovered when the people in charge of the property went to check on it. The home was reportedly not occupied at the time.

When police arrived on scene, they discovered evidence consistent with a drug lab operation. The home was secured as police called specialized units, to safely dismantle the lab. This is the second such drug lab in the Peace Region in as many months, after another drug lab was busted by police in Hudson’s Hope in October.

The RCMP are asking anyone with information in the case to call the Tumbler Ridge RCMP at 250 242 5252 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477.
