Amounts of between 10 and 15 cms of snow are expected to fall on the pass throughout the day today.
A front moving across the BC interior will spread at times heavy snow to the Highway Pass. 10 cm is expected today and another 5 cm tonight. Snow will taper off Wednesday morning as the system weakens.
Environment Canada adds that visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
