KAMLOOPS, B.C. – The Northeast BC/Yukon Trackers are on the road today, heading down to Kamloops to make an appearance in the Thanksgiving International Classic Midget Tier 1 tournament.

The Trackers are going to be well-rested going into the tournament, after having their season opener against the Grande Prairie Athletic Club was cancelled last weekend due to the heavy snow that fell across the Peace. Prior to that, the Trackers lost four games against BC’s reigning champion Midget Tier 1 Prince George Cougars.

A total of ten teams will be in Kamloops for the tournament this weekend. The Trackers start the tournament on Friday at noon with a game against the North Vancouver Storm. Saturday will be an intense day as the team squares off against the Delta Hockey Academy at 10:00 a.m., before facing Ridge Meadows at 5:00 p.m. The Trackers’ final game of the round robin is happening on Sunday against the Hollyburn Huskies at noon. All of the games will be streamed live on the Trackers’ Ustream page:
