ROSE PRAIRIE, B.C. – The Rose Prairie Community Curling Centre will be holding its annual general meeting in two weeks’ time.
The meeting is open to the public, and will be holding discussions regarding the future of recreation in the community. Jesse Braun with the rink says that the committee is looking to keep their curling rink current and relevant, while honouring the community’s history. The committee will also be putting together a vision for future of the community centre as a whole going forward.
Braun adds that the curling centre is also looking to fill a number of volunteer positions, including vice president, secretary, cemetery maintenance, and other directors.
The meeting will be taking place on September 27th at 7:00 pm.
