FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies final roster is beginning to take shape, as a number of new prospective players have arrived at the team’s training camp.

Huskies General Manager Jeremy Clothier says that in the past week, several players from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver Island, and right here in the Energetic City have been practicing with the team. Clothier says that each practice is on average sitting at roughly 24 players, adding that the team is still waiting on several other players from Edmonton and Saskatchewan to arrive next week.

Clothier says that most of the cuts should be made after the team travels to Vermilion, Alberta next weekend for a pair of exhibition pre-season games against the Tigers. Those games are happening on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

The Huskies season begins on Saturday, September 24th, when they head to Sexsmith to take on the Vipers. That game starts at 8:00 p.m. MDT, or 7:00 p.m. in Fort St. John.
