Delivery driver violently robbed in Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance after a delivery driver was robbed and assaulted last weekend.

On Sunday, September 11th at around 7:00 pm, police responded to a robbery which involved a delivery driver in the 10700 block of 99th Avenue.

The driver was allegedly called to a delivery location and then assaulted by two unknown men. Police say the victim suffered injuries that required him to go to the hospital.

The suspects are described as 2 First Nation men between the ages of 20-30 years old. They fled with the driver’s delivery float and his personal belongings.

Police are requesting that anyone that may have witnessed this incident or have any information regarding it, to please call them at 250-787-8100 or call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
