FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Many of us may remember where we were and what we were doing on September 11th 2001 when terrorist attacks happened across the U.S.

This Sunday, the Fort St. John Fire Department will be holding a memorial service to remember those lives that were lost.

Matt Crompton with the Fort St. John Fire Department says the honour guard will be in attendance for the event.

Acting Mayor Gord Klassen will also be on hand to give a short speech, according to Crompton,

He also said Bob Zimmer and Pat Pimm will also be in attendance. There also will be a small video about attacks. They will be reading off names for line of duty deaths from this year as well.

At roughly 10:00 am there will be a pancake breakfast to follow. The event will be taking place at the Fire Hall.
