Grande Prairie RCMP arrest several people over drug charges

o-FENTANYL-facebookGRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – In July of 2016, the Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigation Section with assistance from Grande Prairie Alert team, conducted a street level drug investigation into the trafficking of Fentanyl.

After their investigation, 6 Grande Prairie people have been arrested and charged. Police believe this will help cut down on harm to the community.

Donald Cameron,44, has been charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

Shelby Hingley,25, has been charged with two counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

Michelle Kelly,39, has been charged with two counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

Quentin Smith,45, has been charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

Donna Wilson, 50, has been charged with two counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

Jeffrey Sheppard,41, has been charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

Cameron, Hingley, Kelly, Smith and Wilson will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on August 24th, 2016.

Sheppard is scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial court on August 17th, 2016.
