Fort St. John DQ raises over $14,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network

All proceeds collected from blizzards are donated to the local Children’s Miracle Network.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – After all the delicious treats were enjoyed here in the Energetic City on Miracle Treat Day yesterday, the Fort St. John Dairy Queen will be sending a decent chunk of change to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Owners Linda Patterson and Ken Kramer say that after the full tally from yesterday’s Miracle Treat Day have been totalled, over 1,900 Blizzards were sold, raising a total of $8,920.66. Once individual and business cash donations are included, that number totals $14,260 towards the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Since 1984, DQ and the Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals have partnered to raise more than $115 million.
