Alaska Highway closed south of Fort St John

UPDATE – The highway is now open.

 

FORT ST JOHN, B.C. – A collision south of Fort St John has closed the Alaska Highway.  The RCMP have not released any information about the collision.

At this time we understand the collision is near the old Honey Farm and a detour is in place. Motorists are advised to use the 269 road and travel past the airport to get back onto the Alaska Highway.
