FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Today is the last day that you can use the Fort St. John Spray Park before it is shut down for the season.

The park is being shut down to receive renovations. Julie Rodgers with the City says there will be many new features once the new park is done.

“We will incorporate the existing playground but the new park is completely different. There will be an under 5 section for smaller children, shade, bathrooms, picnic area, a rubber surface which is much safer than the cement, a walking path around that park that can be flooded in the winter for skating, and tons of new water features.”

The City hopes that they have the new Spray Park ready by late spring of next year.
