DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Dawson Creek is one of the 23 communities in BC that will be given funding for the BikeBC Program.

The 23 communities will be given $6.5 million in funding to support projects to expand and build cycling lanes, trails and paths for cyclists and pedestrians.

Dawson Creek specifically will be adding a path extension at 10 Street and 107 Avenue. That will cost around $66,034.

BikeBC is a program that helps communities build cycling projects that attract and support commuter and tourism cyclists.
