FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Rod & Gun Club will be hosting the 2016 BC Sporting Clays Provincial Championships this year over the first part of the August long weekend.
The Competition will be happening at the Rod & Gun Club beginning on Friday, July 29th for the Preliminary event, and will feature 120 clays spread out over sixteen stations of the clay shoot.
The club will host a second 240-clay shoot on Saturday, July 30th. The two shoots on Friday and Saturday will allow shooters to have the requisite 300 attempted shots in order to qualify for the 240-clay Provincials, which take place on Sunday, July 31st beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The event is open to the public, with the only requirements that you register as a member with the Canadian National Sporting Clays Association, either on Friday at the Rod & Gun Club, or online. You must also bring your own shotgun and shells. Admission for the event is $100 for Friday’s prelim, and $220 each day for the main shoot and provincials on Saturday and Sunday.
